Decorate Your Wedding In Style

Every bride wants their wedding to be the day of their dreams. You want everything to be perfect. Most brides have a budget, but you can still find the items that make your wedding day whatever you imagine. Before you start buying centerpieces and choosing dresses, know what you want in your wedding. This day will be remembered for many years in your mind and in photos, so make it special.

Whatever your style, your wedding needs to reflect it. Decide on whether you want an elegant and romantic or causal and artsy wedding, then stick with it. Color will unify all the elements of your decorations. Choose a main color and accent color or a color scheme of analogous colors on the color wheel. Don’t worry about a limited palette. You can add neutral and metallic colors to accent your scheme without it looking like a circus.

Once you know what you envision your wedding to be, make a call to your party rental company. Find out what you can rent as decorations before you start purchasing anything. This will save you money and time. There are many different types of arches and columns available to rent to make your day special.

Maybe you want a gazebo or chuppah (that’s the Jewish canopy the couple stands under in a traditional ceremony) for an outdoor wedding. You can rent practically everything for your guests comfort for an outside wedding such as tents, lighting, and heating or fans. No matter where you want to hold your ceremony, it will be stylish and professional while staying within your budget. About a week before the big day, walk through your venue again at the same time as your event. Think about the lighting and ambience so that you know how it will look on your big day.

With party rentals, it is easy and affordable to have your reception wherever you like. Tables, chairs, and linens are all available to rent for an evening. Ask for the linens and chair covers to match your color scheme. When decorating your table, make sure to give your guests’ eye a place to rest, like a white tablecloth and white chair covers. You want your centerpieces and special touches to stand out, so not everything has to fully decked out. Splashes of color under your tablecloths add pop without overwhelming your guests.

By renting some of your decorations, you get the stylish wedding you dream of without spending a fortune on decorations that you may only use once or twice in a lifetime. With party rentals, your wedding will be stylish and everything you ever imagined.

A Wedding Rental Checklist

If you’re handling your own wedding, it can be easy to overlook some of the details. Here’s a checklist for your rental company needs.

Tables

Not only do you need tables for your guests if you’re having a sit down dinner, but you also want to remember:

  • Cake Table
  • Wedding Party Tables
  • Serving Tables
  • Guest Book Table
  • Gift Tables
  • Table for the DJ
Chairs

Don’t forget high chairs for children. If you have elderly relatives who may need more comfortable seating, ask the rental company for options.

Linens

This includes tablecloths, napkins, and chair covers.

Serving

This will vary, depending on your service. Remember to include:

  • Chafing dishes for a buffet
  • Serving utensils
  • Cutlery
  • Glassware
  • Wine or Champagne glassware
  • Plates, bowls, and saucers
Tents
A small 20 x 20 foot tent will seat about 40 guests if you’re having a sit-down dinner. The size of your reception area may dictate whether you want two or three small tents or larger ones, like 20 x 40 feet that will seat about 200 guests. Make sure the rental company comes out to the area before setting up to survey the facility. If it looks as if the temperature will be extreme, you can ask your rental company about fans, heaters, or portable air conditioners.

Dance Floor/Stage

Ask your performers what kind of stage they require and how large it should be. The dance floor can be tailored to meet your floor space. Discuss the floor plan with the rental company.
